2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. butter or shortening
2 squares unsweetened chocolate or 1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

If using cocoa, add an extra egg. Mix all ingredients in order given. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. For variety, punch holes in hot brownies and pour hot fudge sauce over them.
