HARVEST APPLE CAKE 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. oil
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. diced apples

TOPPING:

4 tbsp. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Using mixer: cream together butter, oil, sugar and eggs. Add salt, spices, soda, flour, milk and vanilla. Mix well. Add apples and stir in. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix topping ingredients together and spread evenly on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
