PINEAPPLE SLAW 
2 c. finely shredded red cabbage
2 c. finely shredded white cabbage
1 or 2 tbsp. sugar
8 oz. can unsweetened crushed pineapple
2 dashes ground nutmeg
2 dashes ground cinnamon
1 c. sour cream, chilled

Combine cabbages. Add sugar to undrained pineapple and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes or until as thick as drained pineapple. Add nutmeg and cinnamon and cool. Add sour cream and blend well. Chill. When ready to serve, pour dressing over cabbage and toss to coat cabbage well. Makes 6 servings.
