APPLE CRUMB PIE 
5 to 7 tart apples or 2 (No. 2) cans (5 c.) sliced pie apples, drained
1 (9 inch) pastry shell, unbaked
1/2 c. sugar
1/ tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. enriched flour
1/3 c. butter

Pare apples; cut in eighths. Arrange in unbaked pie shell. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with the flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake in hot oven at 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until done. Cool. Spoon whipped cream on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
