HERB BAKED TOMATOES 
3 lg. tomatoes
6 tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. each basil, thyme, oregano and sugar
1/4 c. potato chip crumbs

Heat oven to 300 degrees. Cut core from tomatoes and cut them in half. Place halves in shallow pan; cut side up. Put a teaspoon of butter on each half. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the tomatoes. Bake for 30 minutes.
