DELUXE PARTY DESSERT 
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. white sugar
1/3 c. milk
6 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. icing sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 dozen lady fingers
3/4 c. whipping cream
Broken pistachio nuts & shaved unsweetened chocolate

Melt chocolate and sugars in top of double boiler. Combine sugar, milk and egg yolks. Add to chocolate and cook until smooth and thick. Stir constantly. Cool.

Cream butter well, add 3/4 cup icing sugar and cream thoroughly. Add chocolate mixture and mix well. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff and beat in remaining icing sugar. Fold into chocolate mixture and add vanilla. Line a 9" springform pan with lady fingers. Put in alternate layers of 1/3 mixture and remaining lady fingers. Chill overnight. Garnish with whipped cream and nuts and the shaved unsweetened chocolate.
