7-LAYER SALAD 
1 med. head shredded dry lettuce
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. celery
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 c. frozen cooked peas
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. shredded med. sharp cheese
6 (or more) crumbled fried bacon

Arrange lettuce in 9 x 13 inch pan. Small layers. Add peppers, celery, onions, and peas. Spread mayonnaise over peas. Sprinkle with sugar. Add cheese. Cover salad and refrigerate overnight. Add bacon just before serving.
