HOMEMAKER'S HOLIDAY CASSEROLE
(TUNA OR CHICKEN)
 
2 c. macaroni, uncooked
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream style soup (mushroom, celery)
1 c. milk
1/4 lb. processed Velveeta or sharp cheese, grated or cut in sm. cubes
1 tbsp. chopped pimento
1 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 can tuna or 1 c. cut-up chicken

Cook macaroni according to directions in package. Combine soup, milk, chopped pimento, green pepper, onion and black pepper. Place over low heat, adding cheese and stir occasionally until cheese is melted.

Mix macaroni and tuna or chicken in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Blend in cheese sauce and refrigerate. When ready to serve, place in 325 degree oven about 30 minutes or until sauce is bubbling. May also be baked immediately without refrigeration at 325 degrees about 15 minutes. Serves 6.
