PEANUT OATMEAL COOKIES | |
1 c. shortening 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. light brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking soda 3 c. rolled oats 2 c. or 1/2 lb. salted Spanish peanuts In shortening, add sugar gradually. Add vanilla, and eggs. Beat well. Sift flour and soda. Add to mixture. Add rolled oats, peanuts and mix well. Shape dough into walnut size balls. Place on cookie sheet and bake 7 minutes or until brown at 350 degrees. |
