PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. beef sirloin or round
2 tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 1/2 c. water
1 med. onion
1 lg. bell pepper
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Fluffy rice

Cut steak into small cubes. Brown in shortening about 10 minutes or until tender. Add soy sauce and water. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add onions and bell pepper which have been cut into strips. Cook until tender. Thicken with cornstarch and serve over steamed rice.
