BEEF - OLIVE STEW WITH RICE | |
2 lbs. stew beef, cut into 2 inch cubes 1 lg. green pepper, diced 2 (1 lb.) cans whole tomatoes, undrained 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 (7 oz.) jar olives, undrained 1 c. raw rice Put meat in crock pot; add remaining ingredients, except rice. Cover and simmer at setting #3 4 1/2 to 5 hours. One hour before serving, add rice, stirring gently. Keep warm for serving at setting #2. Serves, 6-8. |
