PORCUPINE BEEF BALLS 
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 lb. ground beef
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. butter
2 c. canned tomatoes
2 tbsp. green pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour

Combine uncooked rice, ground beef, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup tomatoes. Mix and form into 12 meatballs. Place in greased casserole. Heat butter in skillet and lightly brown green pepper and onion. Blend in flour and add remaining tomatoes slowly. Cook until thickened. Pour over meatballs. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve from casserole. Serves 6.
