BOILED CHOCOLATE FROSTING 
Works just as well with either cocoa or chocolate.

1 (1 oz.) sq. chocolate (or 2 tbsp. cocoa)
1/4 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix first 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute; stir to keep from scorching. Take off heat, add vanilla. Beat to spreading consistency.

Covers a 9x13-inch cake.
