CAN OPENER PEASANT SOUP 
1 chopped onion
1 green pepper, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 can tomatoes
2 cans beef bouillon
1 can green beans
1 can whole style carrots
1 can whole new potatoes
1 can butter beans
1 can garbanzo beans
2 c. cooked ham, diced

Saute onion, green pepper and celery in oil. Simmer 5 minutes with oregano added. Drain and add all cans vegetables. Add cooked ham. For a variation in flavor, diced beef, or cooked ground beef may be substituted. Cook until heated through.
