AUNT BESSIE'S CRANBERRY JELLO
SALAD
 
2 c. fresh cranberries
1 1/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 sm. pkg. red Jello
1/2 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts)
3/4 c. chopped celery

Heat cranberries in water until they start to pop. Add sugar and cook about 5 minutes longer. Pour boiling mixture over Jello (preferably raspberry). After this mixture cools, add the final ingredients together and refrigerate.

My aunt has made this for as long as I can remember for Thanksgiving, and she makes it and freezes it ahead of time.
