2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs; add sugar and vanilla. Beat until very light. Add sifted flour, salt and baking powder. Put butter into milk and heat to scalding. Add to mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

FROSTING: Mix 2 tablespoons butter, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons cream and 1/2 cup coconut in saucepan. When cake is done, spread this mixture on and put into oven for 5 minutes or more.
