DEEP DISH CHEDDAR CHICKEN 
1 onion-diced
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. salt
8 oz. Pillsbury crescent rolls
Dash pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
4 c. chopped chicken
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
10 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli (cooked and drained)

Saute onions in butter. Blend in flour and seasonings. Add milk, stir until thick. Add chicken, cheese, broccoli and mix. Place in 11 x 13 dish. Separate dough into 1 large and 2 small rectangles.

Firmly press perforations to seal. Cut larger rectangles into larger strips and small rectangles into smaller strips, and place over mixture in a woven lattice design.

Brush lightly with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
