HAWAIIAN DRUMSTICKS 
3 tbsp. butter
8 chicken drumsticks
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. diced green pepper
2 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. white vinegar
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
Canned sliced pineapple rings for garnish (opt.)

In Dutch oven melt butter, add chicken and brown slightly on all sides. Add onion and pepper and cook 5 minutes. Cover and simmer 20 minutes until chicken is tender.

Meanwhile, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in small bowl. Add vinegar, ketchup and crushed pineapple, stir to dissolve sugar and cornstarch. Add pineapple mixture to chicken and cook, stirring until sauce thickens and comes to a boil. Garnish with pineapple slices if desired. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings, 380 calories each.
