MEXICAN STYLE CHEESE STRATA 
4 c. cheese flavored tortilla chips, broken
2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese (8 oz.)
6 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c. milk
1 (4 oz.) chopped green chile
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
3 tbsp. catsup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. hot bottled pepper sauce
While tortilla chips (optional)

Sprinkle broken chips evenly over greased 12 x 7 x 2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. In bowl mix with rotary beater, eggs, milk, green chile, onion, catsup, salt, pepper sauce. Pour over cheese in dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until set and browned.
