TAMALE PIE 
1 c. cornmeal
2 qts. water
Salt
1 lb. hamburger meat
1 can whole kernel corn
Colby cheese, grated
1/8 tsp. chili powder

To make mush, moisten the cornmeal with a little cold water and salt. Stir into the 2 quarts of boiling water. Cook 15 minutes. Cook meat with chili powder and salt in a skillet. Layer in a casserole mush, meat, cheese, corn, finishing with some mush. Top with cheese and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with salad and hot sauce.
