TURKEY PUMPKIN PIE 
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped cabbage
7 oz. ground turkey
1 c. cooked brown rice
1/2 c. tomato sauce
Salt or pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 c. cooked, mashed pumpkin
3 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In skillet saute onion and cabbage with turkey until onion is translucent and meat is brown; drain excess fat. Stir in rice, tomato sauce, and spices; season with salt and pepper to taste. Press mixture into bottom of 9-inch baking dish.

In a medium bowl combine pumpkin, 2 tablespoons Parmesan, parsley, and nutmeg. Season this with salt and pepper to taste. Spread over turkey mixture; sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Bake 20 minutes or until heated thoroughly and brown on top. Makes 4 servings.
