1/4 c. safflower oil 1/2 c. honey 1/2 tsp. vanilla 4 c. rolled oats 1 c. sliced almonds 1 c. wheat germ 1 c. hulled sunflower seeds 1/2 c. sesame seeds 1/2 c. whole wheat bran 1 c. ground roasted soy beans Heat first 3 ingredients, then add to the rest in a bowl and stir thoroughly. Spread on 2 oiled cookie sheets and bake in a preheated 325 degree oven, stirring twice during baking to prevent over-browning, about 15 minutes. Store in an air tight container in a cool, dry place. Makes 2 quarts. 120 calories per cup. |
