HOLIDAY PEAS AND RICE 
1/2 c. raw regular rice
1/8 tsp. rubbed sage
2 tbsp. butter
1 can chicken broth
1 c. frozen peas
2 tbsp. diced pimentos

Brown rice, sage and butter; add broth. Bring to boil; reduce heat; cover. Simmer for 15 minutes; add peas. Simmer for about 10 more minutes; add pimentos, stir occasionally. Makes 3 cups.
