HONEY WALNUT BREAD 
Scald 1 cup milk; add 1 cup honey and 1/2 cup sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves over medium heat. Cool mixture. Beat in 1/4 cup butter and 2 egg yolks. Sift together 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon each of salt and baking soda. Stir the flour mixture into batter and blend thoroughly. Fold in 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts.

Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Leave bread in pan 15 minutes and turn out on wire rack.
