2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
3 eggs
4 c. flour or enough to make dough easy to handle

Cream sugar and Crisco. Add eggs and mix well. Add soda, salt, vanilla and sour cream; mix well. Gradually add flour using enough to make dough stiff. Chill overnight.

Bake at 350°F until light brown, 8 to 12 minutes.
