SCOTT'S APPLE PANCAKES
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. butter
3/4 to 1 cup milk
1 egg
1 apple
a shake/pinch/dash of salt

Mix dry ingredients. Chop your apple into little pieces. You can peel it or leave the skin on. It doesn't make much of a difference. Set apple pieces aside.

Make sure your butter is soft and add that. Then add the milk and egg. Mix all of that together until you get a nice batter. Add chopped apple and stir it around until you have an even distribution.

Use a small ladle to pour batter into skillet or griddle. Brown both sides until batter is done.

This batter should make about 4-5 medium sized pancakes or 3 big pancakes.

Variations: If you want your pancakes to have more flavor just add a little bit of cinnamon into your batter. If you're not a fan of apple, you can use a mashed banana or two instead.
