STRAWBERRY GLAZE PIE 
1 1/2 qts. fresh strawberries
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. butter
Red food coloring
Bake 9" pie shell

Place 1 quart of berries in pastry shell. Crush remaining berries and combine with water, sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Boil 2 minutes or until clear. Add butter and enough red coloring to give an attractive bright red color. Spoon glaze over the whole berries making sure that all berries are covered. Cool and cover with whipped cream before serving.
