SUGARLESS APPLE PIE 
8 med. Delicious apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 c. water
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. liquid artificial sweetener

Put apple slices in water in large kettle and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer about 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch with small amount of water to make a paste. Add to apple slices and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered 10 minutes, stirring frequently until mixture is thickened. Stir in cinnamon and butter. Mix well, add sweetener. Pour into unbaked crust. Put top crust on and bake for 40 minutes until slightly brown and filling is bubbly.
