CHOCOLATE SOUR CREAM CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
3/4 c. sour cream
1/4 c. Crisco
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
4 oz. melted chocolate

Measure all ingredients into large mixing bowl. Mix on low speed. Beat 3 minutes on high. Bake at 350 degrees 40 to 45 minutes in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan; or 2 (9 inch) rounds for 30 to 35 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/3 c. butter, softened
4 oz. chocolate, melted
3 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix butter and chocolate thoroughly. Blend in sugar. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Beat until smooth and spreading consistency.
