DANISH KRINGLA 
2 c. butter
4 c. flour
1 c. cream
1 tsp. salt

Cut the butter into the flour and salt. Add the cream. Work smooth. Divide dough and roll out on floured surface into rectangle about 1/8" and cut into thin strips. Form into pretzel shape. Brush tops with egg yolk and cream mixed, then dip in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees 15 to 20 minutes. Watch closely as they brown quickly. May be frozen and baked as needed.
