MOM'S BEST EVER APPLE CRISP 
4-5 good cooking apples
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. flour

Slice apples into 8-9 inch square pan. Cut sugar and butter together. Add flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread over apples. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until crisp and bubbling. Double for 9 x 13 inch dish.
