1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. catsup
1 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. cider vinegar
4 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 1/3 c. water
1 c. pineapple chunks, drained (optional)

Add sugar, vinegar, catsup, soy sauce and juice to heavy pan and bring to a boil. Add cornstarch mixture all at once, while stirring constantly. Mixture will thicken and become translucent. Add pineapple chunks.

This freezes very well, but don't add the pineapple if you are going to freeze it.
