SOUR CREAM HASH BROWNS 
1/2 c. butter (or 1 stick)
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 lbs. frozen hash browns

Place frozen hash browns in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Heat 1/2 cup butter, onions, soup and sour cream in a pan until mixed well. Spread over potatoes. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
