BEEF AND CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. chopped (coarsely) raw cabbage
2 c. thinly sliced pared potatoes
2 c. bread cubes
2 tbsp. melted butter

Brown beef in skillet until meat turns brown, add celery and onion. Cook about 5 minutes. Stir in flour, tomatoes and tomato sauce, salt, oregano and pepper. Bring to a boil. Place layer of raw potatoes, meat mixture, cabbage in 3 quart casserole.

Cover with bread cubes and melted butter. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for about 1 hour or vegetables are tender. (6 to 8 servings.)
