CRANBERRY CAKE WITH RUM SAUCE 
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. molasses
1/3 c. hot water
2 c. whole raw cranberries

Sift together flour and baking soda. Mix in molasses. Add and stir in the hot water and cranberries. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes in a 9"x9" pan or a loaf pan.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk
Rum flavoring to taste

Mix together and heat. Do not boil. Serve cake with rum sauce over it.
