1 c. dried apples, chopped
1 c. sorghum molasses
1 1/2 c. white flour
1/2 c. lard
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sour or buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. all-purpose flour
Cinnamon, nutmeg & cloves
Ginger & allspice

Cook apples and molasses together on very low until well saturated, then cool. Stir together dry ingredients and mix all ingredients together. Bake in 350 degree oven until done.
