SAUSAGE ROLLS | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. pork sausage 1 pkg onion soup mix (Lipton's) 2 tbsp. flour 2 c. water Salt and pepper to taste Brown meats and drain. Add soup mix, flour, salt, pepper and water. Simmer or bake until this looks like thick stew and all blended together. Refrigerate until cold. Make dough with favorite recipe for biscuits (Bisquick or prepared dough is fine). Roll out 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Cut into 4 inch square and then into triangles. Place a teaspoon of meat mixture on each triangle piece. Fold up 3 corners together and pinch openings closed. Bake in moderate oven 300 to 350 degrees, until lightly browned. Good hot or cold. Makes 8 to 10 dozen. Can be frozen before baking or stored in refrigerator for 2 to 3 days. |
