SEASONED BURGERS
3 lb. ground beef
2 medium eggs
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 medium onion
1 medium tomato
1 large bell pepper (red or green)
2 tbsp. rosemary
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. Adobo (meat seasoning)
1 tsp. black crushed pepper
1 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. barbecue sauce (your choice)
pinch of red crushed pepper

Coarsely chop onion, bell pepper and tomato and place in food processor till pureed. Strain liquid out using strainer and discard.

Mix all the ingredients in large bowl using your hands. After the mixture is well mixed, create a small crater in the middle, about 1/2-inch thick. Pour in 1/2 cup of any desired marinade (I prefer Italian dressing) into the crater. Cover and let sit overnight in refrigerator.

The next day, the liquid in the crater should have soaked through all the meat, giving it lots of flavor. Mix the meat together one last time so the marinade is spread evenly throughout the mixture.

Form balls that are 2-inches in diameter. Press these down to form perfectly round patties.

Grill for about 6 minutes on each side.

Makes 12 patties. Recipe may be halved.
