QUICK COMPANY COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
Pinch of salt
5 oz. can evaporated milk
1 pkg. butterscotch chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 c. quick oats
1 tsp. vanilla

Put sugar, butter, salt and evaporated milk in a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the remaining ingredients, in the order listed. Drop by teaspoons on wax paper and set in a cool place.
