GRILLED PINEAPPLE BURGERS 
2 lbs. lean ground beef
3 tbsp. Italian salad dressing
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (about 15 1/4 oz.) can sliced pineapple, drained
8 slices bacon
3/4 c. barbecue sauce
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. honey
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix ground beef, salad dressing, salt, and pepper. Shape into 8 patties, 3 inches in diameter. Press pineapple slice into each patty. Wrap each patty with bacon slice; secure with wooden pick. Mix barbecue sauce, brown sugar, honey, and lemon juice. Place patties in glass or plastic dish, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Pour barbecue mixture on patties. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.

Grill patties, pineapple sides down, 4 inches from hot coals for 12 to 15 minutes. Turn; brush with barbecue mixture. Grill 10 to 15 minutes. Heat remaining barbecue mixture; serve with patties. 8 servings.
