THE BEST MARINATED SALAD 
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 c. oil
1 tbsp. pepper
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. Accent
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. dried parsley
4 tsp. dried mustard
2 (8 oz.) or 1 (16 oz.) pkg. any spiral macaroni
1 tsp. salt
1 med. onion, chopped
2 c. sliced olives
1 c. chopped green pepper

Mix dressing in a large (gallon) bowl or jar. Warm sugar and vinegar to dissolve the sugar. Put oil, pepper, salt, Accent, garlic powder, dried parsley and dried mustard in bowl or jar.

Cook macaroni with salt, drain and rinse well in cold water; drain again. Add remaining ingredients. Add dressing. Refrigerate and marinate overnight or 24 hours. Stir several times.
