ORANGE BARS 
1 large seedless orange
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Cut orange in half, and squeeze out about 2 tablespoons juice; reserve. Process remainder, including rind, with raisins in a blender or food processor.

Beat butter for 45 seconds. Gradually add sugar and egg; beat until light and fluffy. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; mix well.

Stir in orange mixture. Spread in greased 13x9x2-inch pan.

Bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes. Mix reserved juice with confectioners’ sugar until smooth. Spread on baked mixture while still warm. Cool; cut into 39 3x1-inch bars.
