BARBEQUE BRISKET 
4 lb. beef brisket
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. crushed bay leaf
3 tbsp. brown sugar
14 oz. ketchup
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. liquid smoke
Dash salt and pepper
3 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. celery seed
6 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper

Place meat fat side up on a large roasting pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, chili powder and bay leaf. Roast 4 hours at 325 degrees. Cut in thin slices (diagonally). Mix remaining ingredients. Simmer 10 minutes and pour over beef.
