2 egg whites 1 c. sugar 1 lb. mixed nuts 6 tbsp. butter, melted Beat egg whites until barely frothy; add sugar gradually. Make a meringue with stiff peaks. Add nuts. Spread mixture over 6 tablespoons of melted butter in a 9x13 pan. Bake at 325 degrees and stir twice - total time 30 minutes. |
