NO - COOK ICE CREAM | |
1 1/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 3 eggs Dash of salt 2 tsp. vanilla 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk 1 can Carnation evaporated milk Milk, whole or 2% Mix flour into sugar, add eggs. Blend in salt, vanilla, condensed and evaporated milk. Pour into 4-5 quart ice cream freezer. Add milk to fill line. Freeze, repack with more ice and cover well for AT LEAST 30 minutes. This seems to be the secret to freezing homemade ice cream HARD. Variation: Fruit may be added before milk is poured in. Strawberries and peaches do well in this ice cream. |
