SOUR CREAM CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
3 to 4 c. cut up cooked chicken 1 c. chicken broth 1 c. sour cream 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained 1 can mushroom soup 1/4 c. white cooking wine, optional 1 (8 oz.) pkg. stuffing mix Boil chicken; skin, bone and cut into chunks. Reserve chicken broth. Mix together sour cream, mushroom soup, canned mushrooms, 1 cup chicken broth and optional cooking wine. Mix together with chicken in casserole dish. Follow package directions for stuffing but substitute reserve chicken broth for water. Layer stuffing over chicken mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
