1 box Jiffy chocolate cake mix Grease and flour a 13 x 9 inch pan. Mix and bake 1 box Jiffy chocolate cake mix according to directions on box. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Cool. Filling: 5 tbsp. flour 1 c. sugar 3/4 c. Crisco solid 1 1/4 c. milk 1 stick butter Mix flour and milk. cook until thick, stirring constantly. Cool. Cream sugar, butter and Crisco. Add flour mixture and beat well, until like whipped cream. Spread over cooled cake and refrigerate. Frosting: 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 stick butter 1 egg 3 packets pre-melted unsweetened chocolate 1 1/2 tbsp. hot water 1 tsp. vanilla Melt butter, beat with egg, chocolate, vanilla, water and sugar. Spread on cake and refrigerate. |
