ORIENTAL PEPPER STEAK 
2 tbsp. oil
1 lb. boneless round steak, cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix blended in 1 1/2 c. water
1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tomato, cut into wedges
1 tbsp. cornstarch, blended in 1/2 c. water

Heat oil in skillet. Brown meat, drain fat. Stir in onion soup mix in water. Simmer covered. Stir in green pepper, soy sauce and garlic. Simmer covered 15 minutes or until meat is done. Stir in tomato, then cornstarch in water. Simmer until sauce is thickened. Serve over rice.
