ORIENTAL STEAK AND PEPPER 
1 round steak, sliced thinly (will slice easily if about half frozen)
1 bell pepper, cut in strips
1 onion, cut lengthwise
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
2 cubes beef bouillon

MARINADE:

1/4 c. soy sauce
2-3 cloves garlic, sliced
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch

Mix the marinade sauce and pour over meat, marinate at least 1 hour. Meanwhile dissolve 2 beef bouillon cubes in 1/3 cup of hot water and set aside.

TO COOK: Heat 3 tablespoons oil on wok or heavy iron skillet until very hot. Add vegetables and stir fry 2-3 minutes. Remove vegetables. Again heat the same amount of oil and stir fry meat 2-3 minutes. Return vegetables to pan with meat and stir fry to mix. Add beef broth to make a sauce and serve over rice.
