PRETZEL SALAD | |
2 c. crushed pretzels 3/4 c. butter, melted 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 lg. strawberry Jello 3 tbsp. sugar 8 oz. cream cheese 1 sm. Cool Whip 2 c. boiling water 2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen strawberries Mix together pretzels, 3 tablespoons sugar, and 3/4 cup melted butter. Press in bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Mix 1 cup sugar and softened cream cheese well. Fold in Cool Whip and vanilla. Spread over pretzel crust. Mix 2 cups boiling water with strawberry Jello. Do not add cold water, but do add frozen strawberries and stir until thawed. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Chill. Serve. |
